We had an amazing Christmas event on December 21, and woke up the next morning to our trailer gone from the shop. After spending the day bringing light and joy to dark places, someone decided to take advantage and deprive a nonprofit of its means of delivering goods and donations to folks in need, of transporting materials and supplies to work sites to build homes for the homeless.
We understand that they may have thought they needed it more than we do, but it only made it harder for us to meet the needs of their friends and neighbors.
We are hopeful that the trailer will come back to us, but in that unlikely event, we are raising funds to replace it. We’re keeping our chins up, because we know our community is incredible and we won’t be kept down for long.
