Justin, a former paratrooper is fighting a new battle - one against metastatic brain cancer. He’s a lot more than a veteran and brother to me.
This man helped my son fix and learn to drive his first manual - an old Honda five speed.
Justin is also clean and sober, a war of its own. He’s currently on Shelby County Veterans Court, God willing, he’ll be graduating in October and I’ll be there.
We’ve worked Justin as a mechanic, he’s going to open our shop with us where we teach other vets and former gang members how to restore muscle cars - side by side. Because uncomfortable and unexpected alliances are the strongest.
Unfortunately, Justin’s tumor is impacting his vision and fine motor skills, which has made earning a living until we can open our shop VERY challenging. He’s got an alternate means to earn a living but he needs transportation.
We’re shooting to raise $3k to help Justin navigate this.
Can you help us serve this rock star who served us all?
Ten bucks or a hundred bucks adds up if we all throw in.
If you’re able to commit monthly - or any funds beyond the initial $3k - we’ll use that to fund his workstation and tools at the Memphis Militia restoration garage.
