Darrell Brown
Darrell Brown is retired Navy Chief with over 23 years combined military service. He started his military career in the Marine Corps in 1988 spending 4 years on active duty. He spent 2 ½ years with the Michigan Army National Guard before returning to the maritime services as a sailor with the Navy Reserve. Darrell spent approximately 2 ½ years mobilized after 9/11 in multiple positions with 17 months in the combat zone within CJTF-HOA. He also spent six years as a Department of Army civilian where he led the cybersecurity program for Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS).
Darrell earned a Bachelor or Arts in Security Management concentrating in Information Security from American Military University and went on to receive his Master of Arts in Homeland Security concentrating in Counterterrorism also from American Military University.
Darrell has been working in the cybersecurity both in corporate America and the public sector since 2006 through the present. He lives in southeast Michigan with wife and children. Darrell has a passion for serving others in need. He is especially passionate about our veteran community.
